MY-HEART (March of Youth for Health, Education, and Action for Rural Trust) is a not for profit developmental organization, run by a group of trained social workers and professionals, mainly as a resource center for sustainable social development. The march began in 1991 with its initial focus on the ‘quality of life’ improvement programs in the slums and leprosy colonies of Bhubaneswar city. Subsequently MY-HEART moved to rural and tribal pockets with ‘Community Health’ and ‘Women’s Empowerment’ programs. Since 1999, it has been working as a mother NGO, supported by the Ministry of Health & FW, Govt. of India. MY-HEART also works as the State Secretariat for White Ribbon Alliance ( WRA) for Safe Motherhood, (An international alliance working in 152 countries worldwide targeting for the reduction of maternal deaths & new born care)
