Eight No of Corona Awareness Van were deployed in the four districts of Odisha namely Khordha, Cuttack, Puri & Jagatsinghpur to disseminate messages on Covid-19 appropriate behavior and vaccination. The intervention was carried out in association with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Information and Public Relation Department and the Department of Odia Language Literature and Culture of Govt. of Odisha. Each Corona Awareness van was equipped with printed IEC materials and a display unit and a sound system with power backup to broadcast audio visual messages in the community. Each van was accompanied by one MY-HEART staff who organized community interaction sessions in small groups and distributed masks donated by Bank of America to the vulnerable group in the community. The project was supported by Project HOPE, USA.

A special Corona awareness drive was conducted in the Bonda Hills of Malkangiri district of Odisha for the Bonda primitive tribes, where Mask distributed and disseminated messages on Covid-19 appropriate behavior and vaccination.

Considering the gravity of the Covid-19 2nd wave situation in India Project HOPE, USA in partnership with MY-HEART assisted the country in strengthening the health care delivery system by providing emergency Covid-19 equipment support and supplies. Under this initiative we have provided Oxygen Concentrator, Ventilator, BiPap Machine, Disinfection Chamber, Mask, Pulse Oximeter, Infrared Thermometer and PPE kits etc. to Delhi, Dehradun and few districts of Odisha like Khordha, Ganjam, Malkangiri, Angul, Kendrapara, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Sundargarh.
